It revolves around a journey of overcoming depression. It is one of the very few movies that talks about mental health.

With her first movie, she played the lead female role of typical pretty, snobby rich girl, She didn’t receive a lot of praise for her acting. When she appeared on tv show, she gave quite a wrong/silly answers to the famous rapid fire round. However with her second movie Highway she portrayed her role exceptionally well. Her father said: “Karan made you at star, Imtiaz made you an actor”. After Highway, she gave back to back hits with her next movies.
