If appropriate, you can even build a website to show case your past projects or portfolio. I suggest WordPress, it’s the industry standard and you can showcase your skills. However – if you’re doing this for free Wix is a great platform that allows you to easily customize your site for free. If you want a career in digital marketing, you need to get online and start to engage with the industry! Your future employer wants to know that your actively involved in the community and most importantly, that you know how to use the platforms. They want to see you building your online brand; if you can build yours online – you can build theirs!
