Who am I?

You know what they say – Once you got that travel bug there’s no going back. From Canada, I’ve started this blog to follow and documents my many journeys around this wonderful world of ours. From England to Iceland, from Cuba to Italy, and so many more. I am a 21-year-old student residing in a small-town east of Toronto, Ontario. I will be sharing my favorite monuments, food and drink experiences, activities and my many hiccups finally finding my way.

Ever since I was young, the idea of culture has been one of my top interests. When I thought of traveling I didn’t picture myself posing for a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower (although this does become one of my favorite monuments which I will later talk about), but on the contrary; I pictured myself indulging in French cuisine with the locals, exploring back roads and hidden gems among the city. To experience another’s culture seemed to be such a wonderful way to live and expand your understanding of this world.

This bug sat with me for many years of my life growing up, constantly taunting me with the idea of exploration. Settling with watching specials on T.V. or searching future trips at a young age. I began planning my favorite destinations already.

When the travel begun,

Getting my license was one of the more exciting feats in my life, allowing to finally freely begin my journey. By this day, I had already had many plans on where I wanted to be. Although, being 17 in high school with only a part time job proved to be quite the deterrence of hopping on a plane quite yet. So instead, I began to look locally.

In no way, settling this was the day my journey of discovering Ontario. My favourite destinations I will address in the future in my blog include but are not limited to: Bruce Peninsula, Hamilton Waterfall trail and Prince Edward County.

So why should you stick with me?

Well, this blog will allow you, the reader to learn more about the fantastic destinations that I have been lucky enough to experience along with my even more fantastic boyfriend. Maybe I’ll also be able to help you avoid many of my trivial mistakes along the way. My blog will follow the theme of affordable and increasing awareness of the local cultures of the areas.

My travel bug first bit on my trek to discover Ontario; Bruce Peninsula is where I’ll begin.
