Getting Started:
- Before cleaning shoes using washing machine it is important to first clean off excess debris. This will prevent any gunk on your shoes getting into your machine.
- Remove laces and insoles from shoes and put these in the washer so they can wash as well.
- If the shoe laces you are cleaning are white then it is better to wash them separate. This can be done by keeping them in a small amount of bleach for a little while then rinsing them with hot water. Don’t forget to add a little bit of detergent when rinsing the shoe laces also. This is so they don’t have a lingering smell of bleach when re attached to the shoes.
Into the Machine:
- When cleaning shoes make sure you add a towel in order to minimize damage to the machine as well as your
- Add detergent preferably liquid rather than powder. This is because when cleaning shoes in the washing machine the powder turns into lumps
Time to Dry:
