I’m Robyn, and I love all things beauty, and glitter. I’m the owner of Glittrbean Artistry, a home based lash extension spa in Oakville, Ontario. I differentiate myself from other lash artists with the passion, care, and knowledge I offer to every client. I provide a clean, calm, and sleep inducing environment for my clients.
It seems like everyone these days no matter what their age is deciding to follow their passions. Making it rich or not isn’t the driving factor, they do it simply to feel fulfilled. In 2015 I was going through the same life transition, and moved to Kelowna, B.C. to pursue my dream of becoming a make-up artist. After working as a make-up artist for a year, I was curious about other esthetician services that were becoming popular. A friend of mine had just taken a lash technician course, and although I didn’t initially understand the process, I quickly became obsessed with the industry.
My lack of knowledge about the industry initially, and the lack of resources available to techs even a few years ago was scarce. Lack of regulations, and proper education is a problem the industry faces right now.To be considered among the best, I wanted to know absolutely everything about the industry, and so I could offer my clients a safe and enjoyable experience. I’m continuously trying to learn as much as possible, and love passing on my knowledge to my clients. I urge anyone considering getting lash extensions to do their research before choosing their lash tech. There’s countless reviews on YouTube where girls cry about their damaged lashes, warning any and everyone to do your research.
