Being in Canada, Tim Horton’s is predominantly known as being the most popular and best place to get your morning coffee but I ask, is it really? And if so why? In Canada there are many other places to grab your morning cup of Joe such as, Starbucks, Coffee time, Country style, and local cafes just to name a few. When it comes to the best cup of coffee there are a few factors that come into play like price, speed, atmosphere, and of course the dreaded morning line up. Tim Horton’s does fairly well in each of these categories as they prepare your order with speed and is always consistent, the problem with Tim Horton’s is with their morning lineup. If you decide that Tim Horton’s is the pace to go before work or class for your coffee than be prepared to leave some time. Lines can be very long and can move quickly although, often the lines can cause lengthy delays, I believe this is because Tim Horton’s offers so many different food items that early in the morning it is possible that you will be waiting. Although, morning lines can sometimes be an issue I strongly believe that it is possible that Tim Horton’s is the best place to go for your morning coffee but can there be a better place? Starbucks to me, comes in as a close second but in Oshawa there are not many convenient locations and this may be the most important factor. There may be other places here in Canada that serve the same or maybe better coffee than Tim Horton’s but, Tim’s has so many locations that are located so close to each other that I believe that this makes them the best place to pick up your morning coffee. To conclude Tim Horton’s is and always be a dominant leader in Canada.
