Research
First step for an entry level UX designer is a to complete a thorough research on the topic before you start with the project. It will give you a good understanding of the users and their expectations. That will allow you to design a user experience that the users are looking for.
2) Avoid cluttering
When we design an experience for someone, we want to put all that we have to offer. Some times this leads to cluttering of information and causes the users to get confused and have a bad experience. An entry level UX designer must be very careful while designing and must know how to prioritize the features and offering while keeping the interface clear and simple for the user.
3) Layout must be user friendly
While designing it is important to select the right font size, colors and images which would complement the interface and not make it difficult for the user. The interface must be relevant to the content’s theme and be appropriate for the end users. No matter how good the content is, if it has a lousy layout, inappropriate pictures or bad presentation it will never leave the desired impact on the end user.
4) Navigation
Users always appreciate an interface which is easy to navigate through. The user will be reluctant to use an interface which is very confusing or cluttered. An interface must be simple for any user. It must be simple for them to understand and interact easily with the product. This will also ensure that all the offerings are being accessed by the user.
5) Test
The most important step before publishing a UX is to test it properly. It’s worse to have an incomplete feature than to not have that feature at all. It causes the users to lose faith in the experience and would prompt them to not use it again.
